The practice nursing team consists of three trained nurses and a Healthcare Assistant (HCA).  The team offers a wide range of services and advice to patients to include:

• Chronic Disease Management and reviews - Diabetes, asthma, coronary heart disease, hypertension
• Cervical Screening
• Oral contraceptive checks
• Travel health and advice
• Immunisations
• Well person checks
• New patient screening
• Wound assessment and care
• Audiology testing
• Phlebotomy
• General health advice

One of our practice nurses is also currently undertaking her Nurse Practitioner training.  Therefore you may be offered an appointment with her as an alternative to a doctor for on the day health problems such as sore throats, ear problems, chest infections, etc.

Practice nurse appointments are available daily from 08.20 - 12.20 and 14.00 - 17.20.
